I have to apologize. I am in a total funk.

I don’t know if it’s the weather or certain current events; who knows. I’m in a funk and I hate it (and that kinda makes it all worse).

I changed my outfit 3 times yesterday, then rushed to take photos, uploaded them, wrote a blog post, and then decided I hated what I was wearing. Ever have those days? I’m kinda having that day again today, but I’m going to share this post with you anyways (I feel bad not blogging for more than a few days).

So here you have it. I was trying to channel my inner Judy Aldridge (see here, here, here and here for inspiration). But unfortunately I don’t have the afternoon sun and a quality camera working in my favor.

Instead, I have wet hair, a tripod, a fickle cannon powershot, and my dimly lit hallway on a gloomy raining day. HOPE YOU ENJOY!

No, I’m kidding. I was just rushed this morning, and frustrated; so yes, I forgot to smile in my photos.

I also remembered I wanted to wear a more flattering white tank with this outfit just as I made it to the subway this morning…

But at least the sweater wrap is the most comfortable thing I have ever owned. And you wouldn’t dare believe it’s from Victoria’s Secret of all places. It’s a cashmere blend, and you can wear it about a hundred different ways, AND it’s colorful! It’s really just the perfect thing to throw on and keep warm in the office.

The trench coat is one of TWO amazing Vintage Etienne Aigner trenches that my mother passed down to me when I left for college. I LOVE them. This photo doesn’t really do the coat justice. The trench is rather heavy and better suited for colder, snowy weather, so I’ll be sure to get better shots when the season changes.
