Vintage Sequin Jacket: Cuddy’s Collectibles via Etsy
Shoes: Marc by Marc Jacobs via Beacon’s Closet

Where:
Chictopia Party

Why:

Was excited to head back to Broadway East last night, only to find the party wasn’t much of what I expected. Things started off slow, I didn’t see anyone I knew, and as my feet began to ache I thought about grabbing a goody bag and heading home. I am so glad I didn’t though! Lesson of the night: if you stick it out, amazing things can happen. (Find out what happened when I post later today!)

This sequin jacket was a big hit. I’ve been dying to wear it ever since it arrived in the mail a few weeks ago, but the right occasion never came up… until now. I found it after scouring the internet for the perfect sequin piece only to find two of the same vintage dinner jackets on Etsy! One was priced around $75 but I was able to grab this one for $25! Shows what a little determination can do (now lets find me some nude peep toe pumps!).

Other than the jacket being PERFECT, AND cheap, I love that it’s VINTAGE! This piece has a history. It’s unique. It’s classic. You are bound to be one of a kind when you wear vintage; no worries about having a outfit double at a party!

I have to admit it felt good when Liz inquisitively asked where I got it and I was able to respond “oh it’s vintage!”

Loooove the jacket and how the whole outfit looks so glam because it’s the one sparkly/sequined thing with everything else being dark. Awesome look!
