Why:

My new job is a little bit lot more physically demanding than my old desk job. I spend most of the day on my feet running around. Needless to say, heels are not very practical.

To be honest, I miss my ridiculous heels and being able to wear them just because I sat behind a desk all day.

Now I can’t even bare the thought of standing in stilletos for the duration of my 10 hour work day. So, I decided to play around and take pictures with heels this morning (even if I didn’t wear them out of the house).

I scrunched thigh high tights down to ankle length to add some color and “warmth” for a chilly Fall day (I can’t believe it’s November already)!

While getting dressed, I liked the idea of this outfit, but I’m not sure the photos came out too good. The sun was so bright this morning, and I should have just grabbed a pair of sunnies instead of squinting… but what are you gunna do, right?

After I changed into flats I wanted to include a picture of my “real” outfit as well. Just something cozy and practical… not too amazing.

*I made my boyfriend watch Pippi Longstocking last week, and now he won’t stop singing the opening song. The only thing is he replaces the name “Pippi” with “Lizzie”. This morning when he saw me put on purple stockings with my peeptoes, he immediately broke out into song. Thus the title of this post.
